Don’t Know. Don’t Care. Don’t Bag Your Recycling.

These messages are being targeted by Central Coast Council along with waste contractor Remondis Australia. SGF were tasked to come up with a contamination education campaign targeting Central Coast residents.

1. ‘Don’t Know’ and ‘Don’t Care’ Campaign Involved creative direction for two print and social media campaigns, one campaign targeting people who ‘don’t know’ enough about recycling and commonly place their recyclables in plastic bags and one campaign targeting people who ‘don’t care’ about recycling and are known to commonly place general waste items in their recycling bins.

2. ‘Don’t Bag your Recycling’ Creative Involved creative direction for a transferable symbol that can be applied to various mediums (i.e. sticker for bins, signage on trucks, etc.). The symbol will need to convey the ‘Don’t Bag Your Recycling’ message with limited text and be highly visual.
